The Mardlers' Rest Café

The Gressenhall café provides refreshments for visitors to enjoy indoors or to take as picnics to enjoy in our grounds. Tables are available on a first come first served basis.

Picnics

Gressenhall has plenty of outdoor space, perfect for picnics! There are several picnic tables and benches around the workhouse buildings for you to use, and indoor picnicking areas available when possible for any food not purchased on site.

Gift shop

We have lots of wonderful items available in the gift shop. Brimming with Gressenhall souvenirs, literature and children's toys, the Gressenhall gift shop offers a wide selection of choice.

Book shop

The Friends of Gressenhall book shop offers plenty of second-hand titles to enjoy, available for donations.

Free admission

During our open season, we offer free admission to the Mardlers' Rest Café and gift shop, with the exception of event days.
