By car

Gressenhall Farm & Workhouse is a 30-minute drive from Norwich, Cromer and King's Lynn, and 40 minutes from the heart of the Norfolk Broads.

The route from Dereham town centre is supported by brown tourist road signs.

From the A47, follow signs to Fakenham B1146 and then brown tourist road signs.

There is plenty of free parking on site.

By bus

You can catch the Konectbus, which travels between Fakenham and Dereham. The closest bus stop is a four-minute walk away.

National Cycle Route 1 passes the museum about five miles away. National Cycle Route 13 passes half a mile away. The new Wendling Way Jubilee Trail is also worth exploring.

The museum is surrounded by lots of quiet lanes and beautiful countryside, and is a great ride out.
